Doctors in Japan

A ventilation of japanese prescribing doctors along prefectures, hospitals-category (including clinics), age-brackets, gender and specialty (department) with a forecast for up to ten years.

Also depicts the number of beds, the japanese population per age-brackets, key international comparison data, and multi (vs mono) speciality data.

A careful review of the MHLW (Ministry of Health, Labour, Welfare) definitions (versus others) allows the user to safely navigate along the data and to rightly select the information he needs. The teaching / non-teaching environment is also explained, including grey areas.

All the depicted base-data is publicly available, BUT a considerable amount of information technology facilitates access and treatment for the users of this databank, AND the ten-year forecast is built in-house. Optional pre-groupings (e.g. prefectures, hospital types, age / hospital size, etc.) guide the user to strategically assess what he needs to know.
