Design to Cost
Design to Cost is a team-approach to increase the fraction Quality / Cost driven by a moderator through a precise Job Plan with specific emphasis on Functional Analysis and Creativity.
Design to Cost embodies:
- A Working Team with representatives of all services involved in the product design (e.g. Conception, Manufacturing, Marketing, Buying, Methods, ...), plus a specialist of cost evaluation (Accounting, ...).
